August 28, 2020 by Omar Abusalem

Ferti-Vit

Ferti-Vit is a bird supplement made by a reputable Belgian company called Versele Laga. It contains vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, and it is particularly enriched with vitamin E, a vitamin linked to fertility.

Ferti-Vit benefits

The combination of the components in Ferti-Vit is not only optimal for breeding but also increases the resistance to disease and helps protect the heart and muscular tissue. Other benefits include:

  • Encourages songbirds, such as canaries, to sing.
  • Promotes sexual drive and fertility.
  • Prevents death in the egg associated with a lack of nutrition.
  • Increases the resistance against infections

How to use Ferti-Vit during the breeding season

  • The dose is 1 even measuring spoon (= 1g) Ferti-Vit per 250 ml drinking water or per 100g food/egg food.
  • During the preparation for the breeding season (3 to 4 weeks) until the first egg has been laid: administer daily.
  • For finches and other competition birds: three times a week during the contest season. Store in a cool and dry place.
